China's in-orbit Shenzhou-16 crew, including Jing Haipeng, Zhu Yangzhu and Gui Haichao, on September 21 showed how a metal gyroscope is used to demonstrate the conservation of angular momentum under static and rotating conditions. The experiment was made during the Tiangong Class, a series of space science lectures carried out at the China Space Station to inspire the youth curious about space.
The trio also interacted with the youngsters on the ground via an online video chat. Previously, Shenzhou-13 and Shenzhou-14 crews have carried out three lectures that have become increasingly popular among young people curious about space.
