Singapore's Roller Skating Team has only had one and a half years of formal training, but is nonetheless expected to rank in the top six in Asia. Yet their journey has been anything but easy. The biggest challenge for them is the lack of a formal training ground in Singapore. Instead, they are most familiar with Northeast China, where some of the athletes started their training journey. Coming to China to compete again is then also a return to the place where their dreams began.
