China's economic recovery requires both confidence and patience, Wang Yiming, vice chairman of the China Center for International Economic Exchanges, told CGTN at the 2023 Bund Summit. He believes there is a need to cultivate new impetus for economic recovery, often coming from scientific and technological innovation.
The key for the financial system to better support innovation is to realize that the current value of capital is based on future expectations, said Zhang Xiaojing, deputy dean of the Institute of Economics.
