The Taiwan Affairs Office of State Council on Saturday sent condolences over a factory blast in Pingtung, China's Taiwan region that has killed several people.
The mainland expresses deep condolences to the victims and sincere sympathy to the bereaved families and the injured compatriots, spokesperson Chen Binhua said.
According to local media, six people were killed so far and nearly a hundred others were injured after a fire and blast rocked a factory in Pingtung on Friday.
