The sixth China-Arab States Expo concluded with deals in trade and investment worth 170.97 billion yuan ($23 billion), the organizers said on Sunday.

A total of 403 cooperation deals were formed at the four-day expo in Yinchuan, northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.

As the guest country of honor, Saudi Arabia sent a delegation of more than 150 people to attend the conference and exhibition. They secured 15 cooperation projects worth 12.4 billion yuan.

Ningxia, taking advantage of its host status, drew in 271 projects amounting to 115 billion yuan in value during the expo.

Since its inauguration in 2013, the China-Arab States Expo has become a crucial platform for promoting practical cooperation and advancing the high-quality Belt and Road Initiative between China and Arab states.

Data from the Ministry of Commerce showed that China is the Arab region's largest trading partner, with China-Arab trade doubling over the past decade.
