Hong Kong's Kennedy Town promenade has been given a festive facelift with these rabbit-shaped lanterns. Pedestrians and pets, parents and children and some couples have been strolling in the glow of the holiday decorations as Mid-Autumn Festival approaches on Friday. The symbol of the rabbit has doubly-special significance this year, with 2023 being the Year of the Rabbit in the Chinese zodiac. The Jade Rabbit, or Moon Rabbit, is also a beloved character in Chinese folklore and the companion of the moon goddess Chang'e.
