China's State Council Information Office on Tuesday released a white paper titled "A Global Community of Shared Future: China's Proposals and Actions."
The white paper said the vision of a global community with a shared future stands on the right side of history and the side of human progress. It introduces a new approach to international relations, provides new ideas for global governance, opens up new prospects for international exchanges and draws a new blueprint for a better world.
This year marks the 10th anniversary since the concept of "a community with a shared future for mankind" was first introduced by China. As the primary goals of the vision are to provide grounds for an open, inclusive, clean and beautiful world with security and shared joy, China has been adhering to the path of peaceful development, which not only enables China to make great strides toward modernization but also injects strong positive energy into world peace and development.
Mohamed Jihad is an Egyptian vlogger who has lived and worked in China since 2017. He believes that China has been implementing this vision with concrete actions, for example, providing medical assistance overseas during the COVID-19 pandemic, sending earthquake search-and-rescue teams to Türkiye and Syria, and promoting hybrid rice technology to alleviate food insecurity in African countries.
