A 10-day tour of the original statue of Meizhou, Mazu, will conclude on September 28 on Meizhou Island in Putian, Fujian Province. Tens of thousands of people from across the Taiwan Straits are participating in the magnificent event covering cities and towns in Putian to remember Mazu, the Goddess of the sea in Chinese maritime culture.
