Minshan Mountains Series Ep. 10: Who let the bear out?
CGTN
05:26

The cherries are ripe in the forests of western China's Minshan Mountains, but there is a limited amount of the fruit. A young Asian black bear left a scratch on the tree trunk to mark its arrival. The process of reaching the berries proves difficult for the bear, who is yet to master all the skills needed to forage. CGTN Nature's film crew followed the creature and captured the interesting moment on camera.

On the other side of the forests, infrared cameras caught two giant pandas, a mother and its child, foraging together.

About Journeys in Nature: Minshan Mountains Series

Minshan Mountains are a mountain range lying at the borders of China's Sichuan and Gansu provinces. Most of the mountains have steep walls and sharp peaks. In this series, CGTN Nature's filming crew went into the mountain range located in Sichuan, which is also a part of the Giant Panda National Park in China. They traveled through the dense forest and crossed the rapids to capture the scene of stunning nature and fairy-like animals. Stay tuned!
