A new scenic spot has been unveiled to visitors in Qufu, Shandong, the hometown of revered Chinese philosopher Confucius. Replete with courtyards, pavilions, pools and water canals, Luyuan Town located in the Nishan Cultural Area welcomed guests from around the world attending the 9th Nishan Forum on World Civilizations and the 2023 China (Qufu) International Confucius Cultural Festival. Much like the forum which aims to become a platform for the world to understand Chinese culture, the scenic spot demonstrates traditional Chinese town planning in the form of a layout of large spaces leading to small streets and alleys.
