Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson summoned the head of the armed forces and the police commissioner in a bid to stem escalating gang violence in the country. The northern European country has grappled with gang violence for years. At least 11 people have died in September alone. The victims include teenagers and innocent bystanders.
