The Weiyang Palace was the main imperial palace complex of the Han Dynasty, dating back to around 2,000 years ago. Its relic site is now known as the Weiyang Palace Relic Park located in Xi'an, northwest China's Shaanxi Province. Patches of pink grass, a perennial sedge-like plant, blossom every autumn, creating a vibrant and romantic sight for visitors.

Silk Roads: the Routes Network of Chang'an-Tianshan Corridor is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Weiyang Palace Relic Park is one of the seven sites in Shaanxi Province that connect to the routes of the ancient Silk Road.
