China has commenced transportation of its self-developed 35-tonne wide-body containers, with a freight train arriving at Tianjin Port in north China and then being loaded on a cargo ship heading to south China on September 29. The departure of the cargo ship marks the start of normal operation of the 35-tonne wide-body container express line, which is expected to reduce logistics costs by more than 10 percent.
