The Armenian Defense Ministry reported casualties after saying the Azerbaijani forces opened fire in the border region on Monday afternoon.
The ministry accused the Azerbaijani forces of discharging fire from small arms, targeting a vehicle carrying food for Armenian combat outpost personnel stationed in the vicinity of Kut.
The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry denied the accusation, reported the country's state news agency.
"We categorically deny the information disseminated by the Armenian defense ministry," the ministry said.
