China has led the world in exports for 14 consecutive years, accounting for nearly 15 percent of the global export market as of January 2023. In the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, China provided medical supplies to 153 countries and 15 international organizations. Over the past three decades, China has sent over 50,000 peacekeepers to participate in United Nations peacekeeping operations in more than 20 countries and regions. Qu Qiang, research fellow at Beijing Foreign Studies University, says China has made significant contributions to the global trade, cultural exchange, humanitarian aid and security initiatives.
