Fireworks lit up Victoria Harbour's skyline as the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region celebrated the 74th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. As many as 31,888 fireworks shells were launched to create an 800-meter-wide and 250-meter-high display that lasted about 23 minutes.
