The number of Hong Kong residents traveling north to the mainland has increased since customs clearance resumed between China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and its mainland at the beginning of the year. And a considerable proportion of them are going to cities like Shenzhen and Guangzhou, for day trips or slightly longer.
