China firmly opposes Japan's unilateral decision to discharge Fukushima nuclear-contaminated water into the sea, said a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson on Thursday.
Japan has started the second round of the release of the nuclear-contaminated water on Thursday.
China's position on this issue is consistent and clear, the spokesperson said.
