Japan launched the second round of its nuclear-contaminated water discharge to the sea on October 5, dumping about 7,800 tons of the contaminated water, a process which is expected to last 17 days. The country has reportedly chosen the cheapest way to deal with the contaminated water but spent dozen of times the budget on public relations, to "fight" against opposition and criticism globally. Being so selfish and reckless, by polluting the marine environment, Japan has already contaminated its own national image.
