A contingent of musicians, including veteran vocalist Gong Linna, joined the concert. Gong sang "Eighteen Songs of a Nomad Flute," one of the ten most famous songs from ancient China, accompanied by the music of "guqin," or Chinese zither.

The guqin, with a history of over 3,000 years, is widely regarded as a musical instrument that enjoys the highest status in traditional Chinese culture.
