"Dian Cha," a traditional way of making tea, is a unique cultural symbol of the Song Dynasty (960-1276). And it has been caught up in people's everyday lives ever since then. Whipping the mixture of water and ground tea leaves with a bamboo brush until they become foamy, the art of Dian Cha is beautifully presented by Mustakim from Tajikistan in "Yaji: Asia unveiled," a television special produced by China Global Television Network. Mustakim created tea art in the cup by drawing a tree on its surface. He said that the leaves represent different countries, showing that we are all part of the tree, part of oneness, although we have different cultures.
