Gongchen Bridge is the origin of the name "Chenchen," one of the three mascots of the 19th Asian Games held in Hangzhou. As one of the important heritage points along the Hangzhou section of the Grand Canal, Gongchen Bridge has stood for over 400 years, holding cherished memories for generations.
Chenchen symbolically unites the Grand Canal, the Qiantang River, and distant lands across the seas. The mascot's primary color is blue. On its head, it wears the Qiantang River's tides, and its forehead features the Gongchen Bridge, leaving plenty of room for creativity and imagination.
