Constructed using Chinese high-speed rail technology, the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed rail connects Indonesia's capital, Jakarta, to its fourth-largest city, Bandung. Fernando Suherlim, a young engineer from Jakarta, devoted three years to this project. Recruited by the Chinese company responsible for implementing state-of-the-art telecommunication technologies, he takes great pride in contributing to Indonesia's inaugural high-speed rail system.
