During the 2023 combined Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holiday period, the cultural and tourism industry showed strong signs of recovery, and the national holiday market remained stable. According to calculations by the Data Center of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, during the 8-day holiday period of Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day, there were 826 million domestic tourist trips, representing a year-on-year growth of 71.3% on a comparable basis, and a 4.1% growth compared to 2019 on a comparable basis. The domestic tourism revenue reached 753.43 billion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 129.5% on a comparable basis and a 1.5% growth compared to 2019 on a comparable basis.
