A wind power project built by Chinese companies has been put into service in Abu Dhabi to generate clean electricity, which is expected to facilitate energy transformation and diversified economic development of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The project was built by Power Construction Corporation of China, or PowerChina, with wind turbines provided by the Goldwind Science and Technology company, and is operated by Masdar, also known as the Abu Dhabi Future Energy company.
