The Ministry of Commerce on Monday announced that it is extending a trade barrier investigation into Taiwan's trade restrictive measures against the mainland by three months and the probe will end on January 12, 2024.
According to an online statement from the ministry, the extension was made due to the complexity of the case.
It officially decided to launch the investigation against Taiwan trade restrictions on April 12 this year which involves 2,455 product items, as well as relevant measures formulated and implemented by the Taiwan region to ban products from the mainland.
