South Africa has recently signed two memorandums of understanding (MoU) with China in the space sector. Humbulani Mudau, CEO of the South African National Space Agency, said that these MoUs primarily focus on cooperation in manned space missions and the International Lunar Research Station project. They also cover initiatives for educating young generations and enhancing space industry capacity. Mudau made these comments during a special TV panel produced by CGTN and Azerbaijan's National TV station AzTV at the International Astronautical Congress 2023.
