Born in the Sri Lankan capital Colombo, acclaimed artist Lalith Senanayake cultivated his love for the visual arts while still in secondary school. Despite having previously emerged as one of Sri Lanka's award-winning cartoonists, Lalith later changed track to pursue his true passion – art focused on wildlife, and sculptures made from scrap metal.
