The documentary "A Road to Prosperity" on the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) will hit screens from October 11 to 16.
Produced by China Media Group (CMG) in collaboration with the office of the leading group on advancing Belt and Road development, the documentary recorded how China and BRI partner countries joined their hands to pursue development via win-win cooperation over the last decade.
The show will be broadcast at 8:00 p.m. on a channel of CMG on Wednesday and run through October 16.
The documentary interprets the BRI proposed by Chinese President Xi Jinping with a retrospect of all key milestones and achievements of the BRI in the past decade, unveiling the historical value and significance of the initiative as a crucial platform to build a community with a shared future for mankind.
Comprising of six episodes, the documentary tells fresh stories about the cooperation between China and BRI partner countries in various fields including infrastructure construction, rule and regulation establishment as well as closer people-to-people ties. The documentary also took stock of the achievements BRI has made, and revealed how countries broke down barriers formed by outdated rules and systems and accommodated different standards.
