Another significant step in strengthening bilateral ties as Honduras appoints its first envoy to China, the latest diplomatic move after the two countries established relations in March. Salvador Enrique Moncada, a renowned pharmacologist and medical researcher, has been selected for the role. He previously oversaw research at the Wolfson Institute of Biomedical Research at University College London and researched cancer at the University of Manchester.
