- Israel intensified its air strikes in Gaza on Monday and imposed a "complete siege" on the Palestinian enclave on the third day of conflict following the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement's (Hamas) Saturday surprise attack on Israel, as over 900 Israelis were killed in the clashes.

- At least 704 Palestinians have been killed in the latest conflict, according to Palestine's Health Minister Mai al-Kaila.

- Hezbollah said in a statement that three of its members were killed in Israeli fire on south Lebanon on Monday, as the conflict between Israel and Hamas expanded to the Israeli-Lebanese border.

- U.S. President Joe Biden said Monday that Americans are likely being held hostage by Hamas after its surprise attack on Israel, and that at least 11 U.S. citizens were killed in the assault.
