For the Dulong people who live in the valley of China's southwestern border between the Hengduan Mountains and the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau, mountains are gifts given by Mother Nature. The alders and walnuts are good materials for the Dulongs, as they can make artificial beehives. Dulongs adapt breeding techniques with the help of these native plants, and the eastern honey bees attracted by the beehives not only provide honey for the locals, but also play an important role as pollinators to help the plants thrive. Check the video to see these "sweet" alders and walnuts in Dulong's valley.
