Jinshan is the ancient art of repairing broken pottery using gold. Over the decades, it has not only flourished in China but also spread to different parts of Asia, including Japan, Vietnam and Singapore. In Japan, the art is known as kintsugi. As a philosophy, it celebrates imperfections and the ever-changing nature of life. With society's increased interest in sustainability and mindfulness, this centuries-old technique is experiencing a renaissance.
