More than 338,000 people have been forced to flee their homes in the Gaza Strip, the United Nations said on October 11 in a statement. "The cumulative number of displaced people increased by 30 percent over the past 24 hours."
CGTN Stringer took to the streets of Khan Younis, Gaza Strip, to show what people's lives have been like during the conflict. In this episode, an entire block was destroyed after Israel hammered Gaza. Meanwhile, local residents were trying to dig up daily supplies through the ruins with their bare hands. "I've got nothing left after the bombing, but this cat I rescued," local resident Abdul Rahman Obaid told our stringer during the interview.
