Preparations are ongoing ahead of the upcoming Asian Para Games in Hangzhou, the host city of the just-concluded 19th Asian Games, as work continues to convert all venues and upgrade facilities to the necessary standard before the Para Games start on October 22. Following the conclusion of the Asian Games, organizers are now turning their full attention to the Para Games, which will welcome some 3,800 athletes from 45 countries and regions that will compete across 22 sporting disciplines during the week-long event. At present, all fixed accessible facilities in the 19 competition venues have been completed and have passed professional tests.
