Israel preparing for extensive military campaign against Hamas: president

Israeli President Isaac Herzog said Israel was preparing for an extensive military campaign against Hamas in the Gaza Strip, the Times of Israel reported on Thursday.
"It will be a long and drawn-out campaign against Hamas, which is basically a long and drawn-out campaign on ISIS," he said at a news briefing.
