Bosnia and Herzegovina is one of the few developing countries in Europe. It faces several challenges, from brain drain to the need for better infrastructure due to a history of conflict. In the southern border city of Capljina, a Chinese company is building a new motorway, which forms part of the Pan-European highway network that will link the country to neighboring Croatia. This new motorway promises not only to enhance local transportation, but also serve as a cornerstone for sustainable development in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
