Nestled in north China's Ejin Desert, the Populus euphratica forest – also known as the living fossil forest – undergoes a spectacular transformation during autumn. The leaves of these desert poplar trees gradually change from green to gold, creating a breathtaking autumnal scene. As the autumn breeze rustles through the forest, the golden leaves fall like snowflakes, enhancing the desert's beauty. The backdrop of clear blue skies and white clouds during the morning hours add to the splendor of this golden forest.

Furthermore, the Populus euphratica forest not only offers a magnificent landscape, but it also provides a habitat for numerous species of wildlife that contribute to the region's rich ecological diversity. It makes an ideal destination for nature enthusiasts and adventurers.
