According to big data analysis, over the past week, searches related to "autumn travel" and "best places to visit in the golden season" have seen an 86 percent and 70 percent increase, respectively. Amid this surge in autumn travel interest, the enchanting Populus euphratica forest in Ejin Banner, north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, has secured the top spot in recommendations for "Popular Getaways" and "Autumn Hidden Gems" category, highlighting the affection of travelers for this desert poplar forest.

Nestled in north China's Ejin Desert, the Populus euphratica forest – also known as the living fossil forest – undergoes a spectacular transformation during autumn.
