Death toll surges to 1,843 in Palestine due to retaliatory Israeli airstrikes

At least 1,799 people were killed and 6,388 others wounded in Gaza from retaliatory Israeli airstrikes since October 7, Palestinian Health Ministry said on Friday, adding that 44 others were dead and over 700 were injured in the West Bank.
