U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Friday in Jordanian capital Amman.

Abbas told Blinken that he "completely rejects the forced displacement" of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, and warned of a humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza as a result of the cessation of all humanitarian services as well as the shutdown of the only power plant, the official Palestinian news agency WAFA reported.
