Putin says Russia ready to mediate in Palestinian-Israeli conflict

Russian President Vladimir Putin said Russia is ready to mediate in the Palestinian-Israeli settlement, adding that the conflict should be solved by peaceful means, as he addressed the summit of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States in Kyrgyzstan's Bishkek on Friday.
He added that an Israeli ground operation in Gaza would result in unacceptable civilian losses and that the main thing was to stop the bloodshed.
