Ukrainian commander holds phone conversation with new U.S. military chief

Commander in Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Valerii Zaluzhnyi said in a Telegram post on Friday that he held a phone conversation with Charles Brown, the first since the latter took over as the new chairman of the joint chiefs of staff of the United States.
The two leaders discussed the current situation at the front and urgent needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and Brown expressed assurance of U.S. support for Ukraine, Zaluzhnyi added.
