A total of 84 sets of cultural relics from China, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and the United Arab Emirates are on display at the Palace Museum in Beijing.

The exhibition, themed "Thriving for a Collaborative World: 'Belt and Road' Cooperation in Cultural Heritage and Archeology," is divided into four parts, showcasing the cultural exchanges of different civilizations along the ancient Silk Road, collaborative archeological excavation and relics restoration achievements.

Among the exhibits first on display to the public are a clay figurine lamp from China, a gold tablet from the steppes of Central Asia, stone sculptures from Fergana Valley and blue and white porcelain ware discovered in Arabian Peninsula.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative. Over the past decade, China has launched collaborative archeological excavations with 24 countries along the Silk Road and carried out 11 relics restoration projects with six countries. The ongoing exhibition carries forward the spirit of openness, cooperation, exchanges and mutual development, said Li Qun, head of National Cultural Heritage Administration.
The exhibition will last until January 5, 2024.
