Chinese Foreign Ministry has activated the consular protection emergency response mechanism for nationals after the outbreak of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, said Zhai Jun, China's special envoy on the Middle East issue on Saturday.
"The CPC Central Committee and all Chinese people are extremely concerned about the safety of our nationals in Palestine and Israel. According to the arrangement of the Party Central Committee, Chinese Foreign Ministry has urgently activated the consular protection emergency response mechanism and coordinated protection work for Chinese nationals in Palestine and Israel," said Zhai.
