Thousands of Palestinians began leaving their homes on Friday as Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) issued a 24-hour evacuation order for residents in northern Gaza, telling them to evacuate to the southern area of the Gaza Strip ahead of a possible Israeli ground offensive.
Footage by CGTN Stringer show thousands of Palestinian families with packed possessions traveling down a road out of Gaza City by foot, cars and trucks. In one clip, an elderly woman was carried out of the house by family members in preparation for evacuation.
