The 44th Chinese naval escort task force successfully concluded its five-day goodwill visit to Oman on October 14. Hundreds of people, including staff from the Chinese embassy and consulate in Oman, representatives of Chinese-funded enterprises, and overseas Chinese, came to the port to see off the naval escort fleet. China's guided missile destroyer Zibo and guided missile frigate Jingzhou later conducted joint exercises with the patrol ship of the Omani Royal Navy in the waters near Muscat, focusing on tasks such as maritime communications and formation movement.
