The first batch of earthquake relief supplies donated by China reached Afghanistan's Herat International Airport on October 15. The relief materials mainly include tents, rollaway beds and thick blankets. Two deadly quakes, each with a magnitude of 6.2, followed by several aftershocks, rocked western Afghanistan on October 7, leaving at least 2,000 dead and thousands injured.
