From 'freehand brush work' to 'claborate-style painting': Indonesia's "Red Komodo"
08:57

Indonesia, the world's largest archipelagic country, has faced many challenges in its development due to its scattered geography and underdeveloped transportation infrastructure. The Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway, also known as the "Red Komodo," has become a flagship project of the China-proposed Belt and Road Initiative.

The train's red and silver design is inspired by Indonesia's iconic national treasure, the Komodo dragon. As the very first high-speed rail project in Indonesia, it carries the country's aspirations towards economic prosperity and epitomizes China's commitment to sharing opportunities and fostering mutual development on a global scale.
