UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak on Monday announced another £10 million in humanitarian aid for Palestinian people but stressed that "they are victims of Hamas too.”

Sunak made the remark while addressing the House of Commons for the first time since the Israel-Hamas war began last week.

"I believe we must support absolutely Israel's right to defend itself," he said, noting that UK will "continue to call on Israel to take every possible precaution to avoid harming civilians.”

According to him, at least six UK citizens were killed and 10 others are still missing.
