Senegal's geology is complex, and drilling wells is so difficult that trucks loaded with equipment can only be moved with iron plates. Sometimes it takes days to walk several kilometers. The Chinese government finances the rural well-drilling project, covering 12 regions in Senegal, under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). To date, 251 water supply systems have been built. Through the project, one-seventh of the population will have access to water. How do we jointly build the "Belt and Road" by opening up the bloodline of the economy and trade and letting globalization continue to flourish?
